About the Event
Our next leadership summit will be held on Saturday, March 6, with virtual events from 10am-3pm CST. The event will feature sessions on how to run for office, diverse speakers from all levels of government and LGBTQ+ and Black women "power hours." You don't want to miss this!

10am: Welcome and attendee introductions to build community
10:30am: Morning keynote with Lane Koch of Grassroots Girl, LLC
11am: "Campaigning for Local Office" with Branson Alderwoman Julia King and State Representatives Peggy McGaugh and Lisa Thomas
12pm: "Lunch and Learn: Communication Strategies for Campaigns" with State Representative Ashley Aune and KC City Council Legislative Assistant Angela Pearson
12pm: "LGBTQ+ Leadership Lunch" with former State Senator Jolie Justus (more speakers to be announced soon!)
1pm: "Office Hours with a State Representative" - schedule a one on one meeting with State Representative Emily Weber (sign-up link to follow for registered attendees)
1pm: "Black Women Power Hour" with Mexico Mayor Ayanna Shivers, St. Louis Mayoral Candidate Tishaura Jones and Kansas City Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw
2pm: Afternoon keynote with Victoria Elena Nones of RUN: The Series
2:45pm: Closing and prize winner announcements (local businesses have generously donated prizes for our attendees!)
Registration is $10 which includes a "toolkit" that will be mailed to you before the summit! The toolkit will include Missouri M.A.D.E. merchandise, a gift card for lunch during the summit, prizes from local Missouri businesses and a journal to help you plan your future run for office.
